Also known as Health Spending Accounts, this option can be referred to as a 'top-up' program. It offers reimbursement for eligible health, dental & vision expenses not covered under the basic group insurance program. Premiums are 100% tax deductible for the employer and benefits are not taxable to the employees. Coverage can be provided to all employees or a particular group of employees, for example 'executives'.
